Workhorses are stocks with very clear resistance, very clear support, and a lot of congestion in the chart. They chop around in defined ranges, and that gives you a roadmap — you know when to sell calls, when to sell puts, and where your edge is.
Racehorses? They're running. And you don't want to step in front of a train.
