MM74 - Debasement Update

Today I want to talk about something I have not brought up in Kilo Club yet, but it is time. This is not financial advice. I am not a certified trading advisor and I am not a CPA. I am simply sharing what I see and how I am handling it. From here on out, I am going to put my debasement trade into videos to keep you apprised of how I am handling it. What is in that trade? My gold from 2024, my gold and silver MSLs, my Bitcoin LEAPs through IBIT, and my Solana, which is pure BSOL.

Let's start with gold, because this one deserves an honorable mention. There has been a huge move in GDX, and so many people ask me, why not just buy straight gold? I entered based on gold. When I saw those DCAS readings that were so insane, I knew it was time to look at gold. But here is the thing: gold will never trade the way GDX does. Straight gold is only about 16 to 17 percent off the bottom and it just barely eked through its 200 SMA. I would not be surprised at all to see a pullback there.

Now look at GDX, the gold miners. Same market (sort of), but measure the move off this bounce and it is a 46 to 47 percent move. Huge. That is exactly how I am trading gold, because I want the leverage. Honestly, straight gold is a little boring to trade. GDX is not. GDX itself is a leveraged play on gold, and then I layer on top of that the MSLs to get even more leverage on the trade.

So that is how I get my leverage on the gold market. And here is the part I want you to really hear: I will never load up perfectly at the bottom, and I am not adding right here. Let me show you exactly why, and what I am waiting for instead.
